Review on Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Conditioner by Melanie Phillips

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I bought it because I'm slowly transitioning to cruelty-free and vegan products.

I bought the Shea Moisture bath, body and massage oil and I love it. So I decided to buy this one. It's not bad at all. I just tried it this week and noticed a difference in my hair. It looks cleaner, softer and I've noticed that the slight waves in my hair are more bouncy and defined. I also have greasy hair which causes me to wash my hair almost every day which is bad for your hair. Well since using this I have washed my hair for 3 days this week. The maximum I've gone without washing is 3 days. I finally washed it this morning but I have to say I only washed it because I was embarrassed that my hair might smell. That being said, I've noticed that my hair is just starting to get slightly greasy (sorry for all the extra detail but I think it's necessary) but nothing major, I could probably go another day without washing my hair. I've also noticed that I might need to buy shea butter styling products on non-stop rainy days. The shampoo and conditioner helped with the frizz, but I feel like the styling product would give my hair more of a finishing touch. Although I only gave 4 stars I noticed that you really need a conditioner to go along with the shampoo. Otherwise I don't think my hair would be soft. I would recommend a styling product just to add definition to your hair. But other than that I love this product.
