If you're looking for a booster seat you can pack in a carry-on and use in the rental car for a quick drive from the airport this is great. It's very compact but works to adjust the belts to the correct position for little kids who still need a booster. It's tough for them to buckle themselves because of the way the lap belt adjusters work so just be prepared for that. If you're looking for something where your kid can sit in this for hours on a long trip, or for everyday use, this isn't it (get a regular booster seat) but if you don't want to pay extra to check a booster seat on a flight or need something that fits in a tote bag this is perfect. Also great to stash in the grandparents' car for unexpected school pick-ups.
