Just a first impression of the strap I received today. I like it and it's comfortable. I bought a water sports safety strap so I don't lose my glasses if they fall off while I'm wearing them. Second, I was hoping that the strap would keep my glasses afloat if they were to fall in the water. Unfortunately, this strap doesn't keep my original Wayfarer Ray Bans afloat. Tints are heavier than other types of tints, so your mileage may vary. From a design point of view, the seam sewn into the ends of the spears needs to be reinforced enough to ensure a secure hold on the curtains without risk of tearing or tearing the tread or neoprene. My belt is 19 1/2 inches (49.4 cm). Three stars for the seemingly good stitch quality and the fact that it's just a strap. If it kept my glasses afloat or the strap cost about two bucks less I would up the star rating to four. Five stars if it was both. I mean come on It's not the Ferrari of sunglass bands, but do they even exist? I still like the band and am happy with it.
