Review on πŸŽ’ MOSISO Multipurpose Crossbody Shoulder Backpack by Jonathan Unruh

Great SMALL bag with a few aftermarket upgrades

I bought this bag for a trip in September 2018 and still use it. It's not very padded so if you want a big bag you might not like it. The fabric (grey) is actually a plastic coated fabric and is waterproof. The seams and zippers are of course not waterproof. The bag has a nice square shape when loaded and the coated fabric gives it some structure so it stands upright and doesn't fall into a soft heap when lowered. Everything you read about water bottle bags is true, but they're the perfect size for glasses. I keep my Rx goggles in one pocket and sunglasses in the other - no more searching in my bag. The strap detaches very easily and quickly, allowing the bag to be worn across the body, eliminating the hassle of doing things like grocery store pickup. The main compartment zip has two pull tabs, a nice convenience. Although I like the bag, I attached a few things to it. The zipper coil material on the outside bag was cut very short and their ends ended up on the outside of the bag. Zipper tape is notorious for unraveling - I burned it with a flame and then sewed the ends of the zipper up to secure it. (It wasn't easy, but I'm a ninja seamstress.) This feature would be much better if the zipper was attached across the entire bag, edge to edge. The stitching could be neater around the edges of the zipper and the ends of the zipper tape would be locked in one stitch. I also finished the edges of the seams where the strap is sewn to the bag, they are accessible in the main compartment and can wear out over time. I added a keychain so keys can be attached to the bag. This makes it easier to find your house keys when you return home from a trip.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
