If you have a stove like mine (I don't have an exact model, but it's a Jacuzzi), start by measuring the distance between the handles and the oven handle. If the handle is near the handles you will likely need to install open/flip up safety covers (see my pics) as the handle will prevent the covers from opening fully. Otherwise, you can install them with hinged covers as shown in the item listing photos. Not only do these covers accommodate your orientation preferences, but they are also easy to install. They come with 5 lids and 5 adhesives that should stick firmly to your cooker (don't forget to clean the cooker of all oils and then stick them carefully). My oven handles pop out very easily so these covers have been a life saver as my little one keeps wanting to take them off. The lids open easily by squeezing the sides (something a toddler would have a hard time doing, or at least a small toddler like my 13 month old). The design is simple and clear and so far very effective. Everything is fine here.
