Revain's Choice and video reviews indicated this was the carpet cleaner we needed. A few things to know: Others have reported problems with kinking and possible tearing of the suction hose. It's very stiff and no matter how you twist and unwrap it, the hose always seems to be in a tight spot, sometimes causing it to twist where the hose connects to the machine. Some have suggested taping this joint and I'm considering doing it as a preventive measure, but maybe just widen the curve a little further away from the car? The second frustrating problem is that the large brush sprays the cleaner about 30cm up the wall. You can either clasp your hand or push the brush into the carpet, which will immediately soak up the cleaning agent. Perhaps on purpose, but the smaller tool sprays the solution down allowing you to soak the area, turn the machine off, clean, turn the machine back on to vacuum the area. In any event, looking back I would buy a bottle of carpet cleaner, a spray bottle, a brush and use a wet vacuum to remove stains that carpet cleaners don't do very well. By the way, the suction power is only good and it takes quite a long time to suck up the cleaning solution.
