Excellent starter kit for hobbyists. If you've hesitated when buying a rotary tool and really don't understand what you're doing, then this kit offered by TECCPO is a must-have. The guides for setup, changing bits, maintenance, and general useful information are easy to understand and very helpful for a newbie like me. I use this spinning tool for a variety of purposes. I use drum grinders on my dog's claws as the rotary tool is much safer and gentler on the dog's claws. I'm a fashion designer and miniaturist, so having a variety of attachments for cutting, trimming, sanding, and polishing guides and shapes is a huge asset to keep your craft looking progressive. I cut mold lines on both plastic and metal with the drill bits included in the kit. I then use different sanding rollers to smooth the surfaces. If the surface is large enough, it is better to use a flat grinding wheel. I then use the included polishing pad and paste to remove any rough edges. A cut-off wheel is indispensable when you need to reshape the wheel arch of a model car, cut off unnecessary parts or drill holes for hoods, doors and trunk. I've also found this tool useful for chores like trimming dried caulk around my tub. You'll never realize how handy a rotary tool is until you finally decide to buy one. This particular tool has multiple speed settings that you'll want to experiment with on different surfaces. I found settings 1 and 2 to be great for buffing and light sanding. I use setting 1 for my dog's toe claws. For cutting, I prefer to turn it to level 5 for a nice clean cut. The body of the tool will heat up over time with prolonged use, but that's true for any tool with a closed motor spinning over 15,000 RPM. I also see that this tool is not suitable for heavy projects. It's more of a tool for hobbyists and small home projects. Try this tool. The price isn't on the wallet, and the accessories that come with it are sure to have what you need for your use.
