I use this as a cushion on a horse scale. Since I had a barn and horses, I had and still have a lot of rubber mats. I was amazed that it really didn't smell like rubber. It's spongier than any of my other horse mats, but still suitable for movement. It was very easy to trim with a razor blade. Unlike the mats which are shipped flat, it is shipped rolled up. I left it on flat concrete in 90 degree sunlight for a day and it still rolled. And yes, I had a page that said "this page down" at the bottom. Two days later it's still wavy at the ends but hopefully will loosen up and flatten out completely over time. There is a potential trip hazard at this point.
