I had to spend a lot of time adjusting the brackets to reduce the stress on the thin fairing plastic, which resulted in everything being installed on the bike and then repeatedly ripped off to try make another setting. . After four cycles of this it actually came out decent with some needed compression here and there during mounting on the bike. I'm not entirely sure if it adds a ton of stiffness in the fore/up-back/down direction of the windshield, but hurray, it's there. While I like this idea, I doubt if I do it again these brackets will be part of the mix. In the past, fitting a fairing to a bike was effortless, all the holes matched, and I'd love to come back to that.
