I have thick and wavy curly hair. This is not for people with curly or wavy hair, not straight. If you have curly baby hair or cow mucus etc. then it is not tight enough. If you try to tighten it because it's only about an inch in diameter, you'll end up looking like Shirley Temple. It won't give you those beautiful beachy waves. This can work if you have straight hair or if your hair is still warm from drying and you leave it on for a short time. If not, you most likely need to use a hot tool, which for me was the reason I bought it. So I didn't have to. It's a cool concept, but to me, it's not worth the time to wrap it up or the end result.
