Adds high-pitched hum to music output that can be heard through headphones or any high quality audio system. I also have an Apple branded Lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter and it works great. no visible interference. Maybe I got a bad device, but if they're all like that then the people who left positive reviews might need to pay a little more attention, although the headphones are good. This is especially noticeable when you pause the music - the howling lasts several milliseconds; If you press play again, you'll hear the howl again for a few milliseconds before the music starts playing again. Poor quality product, stay away.
