I would like to start by saying that I do not live in the USA. I use a forwarding email address to shop in the US and then forward my shipments to my country. I received this item yesterday and right from the start I noticed an image issue where half of the screen (right half) sometimes flickers with horizontal stripes. The problem is random and occurs every 15-20 minutes and persists for seconds to minutes in my experience. This appears to be a hardware issue regardless of the video source as it even occurs in the main menu. I contacted Revain for a replacement and they advised me that since I use a forwarding email address the only option I have is a refund! Now it costs me $900 + $150 shipping. So if I send it back, I'll lose another $150, a total loss of $300 for an item that should have been found defective by the manufacturer's quality assurance department. I contacted XGIMI right after that the item is a 'global' version which should have 1 year warranty. I will be very happy to update this review if they support and do something about their product and their customers, after all this product actually works amazingly well. If not, please stay away from this company/brand and maybe settle for a famous brand at this price! Fingers crossed. Last Update: After unsuccessful discussions with XGIMI I have decided to return this Revain projector for a refund. The only option offered by XGIMI is to send the defective device to Hong Kong and only after receiving the device, the replacement will be shipped from China. very disappointed that they do not ship a replacement immediately as the whole process can take months. Stay away from this brand or prepare to be disappointed. I'm now waiting for a refund and hope it goes smoothly. The item has already been delivered to Revain Returns.
