Works great when replacing the aerator screen.
I wanted a cheap faucet that I could attach a hose to and it looked perfect. However, once it was installed, we found that although most of the water that flowed through it flowed straight down, small gullies of water sprayed in all directions. I removed the diffuser/aerator from the old faucet we were replacing and tried it on the new faucet and it worked great. But of course you can't attach the hose then. I noticed that the grille on the old diffuser has more holes than the new diffuser. So I replaced the screens, put in a new diffuser and it works great.
