The bracket is strong and solid. 2 ball joints offer a wide range of positioning. The only issue for me was that the plastic washers that the mount compresses didn't quite fit the handlebars, causing the mount to slip and fall off. I bought shower sealant at a hardware store to use under windows instead of tape and it completely fixed the problem and made the attachment strong in all places.
