This is my main phone and it works great

I like this phone. I hesitated to buy it because I saw in other reviews that the keyboard is too small to use. Decided to try anyway. Amazed at the accuracy of the keyboard. It works out. I wanted a small phone for running, biking and traveling. I wanted Android Nougat to expand internal storage. I wanted an unlocked phone. All of this is taken care of by Unihertz Jelly Pro. I did the initial setup without a screen protector and gained confidence in the keyboard and phone. Added protective glass and lost accuracy. Peeled off and provided with a thin plastic protective film. The keyboard is very responsive. I'm still learning but I'm happy with this keyboard. Moved SIM from my old phone to this one and joined the Ting network. Had to call their support team to update the IMEI number on their system. Just like this one. This is a truly unlocked phone. Ease of use in BYOD networks. Failed to install wireless update. I contacted Unihertz support and they solved the problem. The problem stems from the fact that I installed a 64GB Micro SD as "internal storage". The over-the-air update process is confusing and the user needs a little help. Now updated and running the latest version of Unihertz Android 7. I was confused how to get to the dial pad to choose replies when checking my voicemail. I noticed that the phone interface has a slider that selects hang up (left) or unlock (right). Sliding to the right unlocks the speakerphone button, mute button, and dialpad. New to me but not a problem, just a learning curve. Initial tests show that the battery works well. I bought a spare battery but removing the back cover to change batteries is cumbersome so I'm learning how to stretch a battery all day. I use the built-in Dura Speed app and settings to restrict network access. I also added the free version of Avast Antivirus as it can automatically stop power-consuming background applications. One of the persistent problems is the alarm clock. The installed version worked 6 hours late and wasted a lot of battery on alarms at a time when I couldn't get to my phone to turn them off. I tried another alarm clock app and found that there is a known issue where alarms don't work when the internal storage is a micro SD card. I think my old cell phone still has a purpose - as an alarm clock. I was willing to use the Unihertz Jelly Pro as a backup phone just for running and travelling. Instead, it's my main phone. He does everything and does it very well.
