I am a Licensed Beautician and purchased this item for home use based on the incredible reviews but unfortunately they didn't match the reviews. The pot heats up for a long time and switches off automatically so that the wax does not heat up sufficiently. Once the wax was warm enough I applied the wax but when I took it off only a few hairs were removed. I think part of the problem is that the wax cools so quickly. I barely had time to apply it before it cooled and hardened. Send it back and don't recommend it to anyone.
