My daughter is four years old. She is normal for her height and weight which is around 40 pounds. I ordered a regular size and it was slim and small. It looks like she wore a dress that wasn't made for her. Also, it was her birthday, so it sucks. I would definitely go two sizes up for what you are going to buy. I wish you this information. The fabric doesn't look cheap, but it's not the best quality either. If you don't want to spend that much and want to get something "cute and trendy" then go for it. Oh yeah, she won't wear it anymore.
