UPDATE: The day this coat arrived I found it half price on the Columbia website. I contacted the seller and asked them to adjust the price but they refused. I asked if they would give me a discount for a second coat in a different color and they declined. So I send it back and buy directly from the manufacturer's website. I really like this coat! It's soft, warm and very comfortable! I'm 5 feet 3 inches and 170 pounds. It falls about halfway down my thigh. He is not tense in arms, chest or back, even when arms are crossed in front. Inside pockets are lined with warm fleece. The hood can be tightened around the face, the fur trim can be removed, or the entire hood can be removed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5 is because the collar is quite stiff and covers the lower part of the face when fully closed, but that might be ok for someone else.
