I love these little lights and have installed them throughout my motorhome in storage areas and under the hood where light is needed most. I have an old wheeled camper that doesn't have much light in key spots so I bought these units. They come with a small amount of wire between each light, but I just cut them into separate lights and set up a square in the area where I need the light and set a small toggle switch to turn them on and off at will turn off. It's a lot easier than relying on a headlamp all the time, especially when you're not at a commercial campground. Often times we hike back country in the mountains in BLM, National Forest and National Park areas that do not provide lighting when setting up your campground, leveling and stabilizing the RV. It's also an excellent source of specialty lighting when some manufacturers aren't providing enough light. These areas include under the hood where you can make repairs or just check the fluid level. I haven't installed them as a safety light on my steps yet, but am considering doing so for the next set of these lights I plan to buy.
