I forgot how quiet our 8 year old dishwasher was when the motor bearings wore out. Now again I don't know if it works and I open it in the middle of the loop. He screamed like a banshee, but this replacement took care of all the drama. So happy with this solution. It's pretty easy to get into the dishwasher once it's unplugged and taken out. Pulling the entire machine and back into the cabinet took longer than replacing the motor/pump.
