These shoes are about what I expected for the price. What I did not expect however, is that they run a bit large (so get a half size smaller), and just how stretchy they are. They are not like traditional shoes with a structured ankle area. They are almost entirely made form stretch material including around the ankle. Its almost like wearing a sock, with a sole glued to the bottom. This is an okay thing as it makes them VERY breathable and you wont get blisters on the back of you heel or probably anywhere for that matter. However because of their design and materials, the shoe strings do almost nothing to "tighten" the shoe when tied. Thats why I say get a half size smaller so that it remains snug on your foot, even when the strings are tied. They do look nice though and are certain to fool people into think they're more expensive than they are.
