Review on HP 68.58" Display - Ultra Slim, Backlit Micro Edge, 60Hz, HD, 2XN62AA by Brian Wallace

Revainrating 1 out of 5

A month later, the vertical and horizontal pixel lines are dead

I am very disappointed that within the first month of use it has two very noticeable streaks of dead pixels. One is in the right quarter of the screen, the other is an inch from the top and splits the address lines in half. I bought this monitor specifically for my office because it works so well at home. Even with the VESA mount I bought for it, it still wobbles a lot. Update, suddenly black screen as if blinking, rare but relatively long for the level we are at with the technology. The picture is sharp and clear, but I only rated it higher because it's better at home. Although we bought this monitor in December, it wasn't installed until the end of January, so it was mainly used for a month. Strongly disappointed!

Pros
  • Very clean image at a very affordable price
Cons
  • This monitor is so blurry when connected to my MacBook Pro that it's not even worth using.
