Fits well! Im not into the ribbed look/feel but it does provide give for squatting, etc. I really like these leggings and it is true - the front is very smooth and flat at the stomach! In case this is helpful, I used to get only Victorias Secret sport leggings for many years simply because of the longevity of how long they last and combination of the feeling of being held in which Spanx is famous for as well as the high rise. I still have some VS leggings I purchased in 2005! The color has faded but they still fit great if you do not dry them! Unfortunately, Victorias Secret has discontinued all of their compression sport leggings so Im making the switch to Spanx! If you are looking to use these for working out - they WILL be fine, but I recommend you go for the active leggings found on their website for regular working out. These are great, but I kind of feel like I am working out with a casual or yoga legging and might wear out it faster than a legging thats a little thicker and made last through workouts that involve more intense exercise sequences than yoga like HIIT, kick boxing, martial arts and the Insanity workouts. They are not sheer they are opaque.
