I wanted a lightweight raincoat for my dog that would be water repellent. The last raincoat I bought sold out and I loved it! This one looks just as good though, has a well-made Velcro closure and goes under the dog's chest, which is a huge plus over their last raincoat. It has withstood the recent moderate rain very well and is so light it dries fairly quickly. I hope the velcro will hold up over time. Size wise I have a 10.5 lb long haired Chihuahua mix and her measurements were on the low end of a 'small' size and this jacket fits her perfectly if not just a little tight around her chest. If she were up on the "small" measurements, she would need a medium size instead of small. All in all a very good buy and price for a light summer raincoat.
