Headphones compared to the quality of the headphones themselves

I've had them for about a month now and I think it's time to write a review. The best way to think of these headphones is to consider these earbuds separately from the headphones. The rubber pad that fits in the ear and makes them different is great. As many reviewers point out, they're secure, don't get in the way, and let outside noise through (a requirement for me when running outside in the city). There's a little more wind noise due to the shape of the earbud, but that's a consequence of this choice (I don't like ones that fit in/fill in the ear to block out the sound). If you have headphones that you want to "convert" for sports use, the earphone itself will do. As for the headphones themselves, in my opinion they are only suitable for sports use. I agree with those who say the midrange is pretty muddy. The highs are quite good, but the lows are too bass-heavy for my taste. This messy middle makes me less than satisfied. But since these are sports headphones, the cloth-covered cable makes them quite noisy from friction and shock. The Y-cable is too long for my height (1.50m) and I find it difficult to attach it. So for the price the earbuds are great and stay in place while the headphones are so-so. I could try an insert. on the Sansa headphones that come with the clip to convert them for "sports" use or maybe just being good to live with. I live abroad and they brought them to me. I confess that otherwise I might try to return them.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
