I finally spent $$ on a quality humidifier after several years of trying a range of cheap and mid-range humidifiers and this one did not disappoint. I jokingly call it my fog machine. Because in my master bedroom, while not small, I have to set it on low as medium and high make the room noticeably hazy. But I like it because it shows how powerful this humidifier is if I ever need it for a large room. Despite this, it never leaves condensation or moisture on anything. There are a few things though: The LED display is very bright, so if you want to sleep in a dark room you'll have to put it to sleep so the display will dim, and if you put it to sleep it will warm The fog function starts. turns off automatically and cold fog is used by default. I can't understand why the designers did this, I would like a warm mist option when I sleep. But that's the only issue I have with this humidifier, and it's in no way a deal breaker. I have a suggestion that I think people should really consider: buy an extra filter that screws onto the underside of the filler cap. Yes, I know people think it should come with it, but it doesn't. So when you're spending that much money on a humidifier, the small extra cost of a filter isn't a big deal. It really works. I have medium water where I live (not hard, not soft) and have seen what was left of mineral deposits when I had cheaper warm mist humidifiers. I took this humidifier apart after the first month to clean it and it didn't have any mineral build up or residue left in it. So buy a filter, trust me. It's worth it and it's good for 3 months. For what it's worth I also bought one of the products that are supposed to protect the tank from mold/fungus and bacterial growth. This also worked and the tank remained clean and odor free. Something else to consider.
