Surf, Bass and Trout

UPDATE a few months later: save 5 stars. I went fishing with this backpack up to 3 times a week. Extremely hard. The zippers are in perfect condition, it's still like new although I haven't repaired it much (and haven't washed it :))) First impressions are excellent. In the video you can see the process of loading my fishing gear. Here are some details: PROS: - looks very solid - the zips are very good - 3 large compartments (2 front, 1 back; the largest front compartment also has a mesh pocket and a large zipped pocket inside) - 2 smaller front compartments - there fit lots of stuff in (that's a very relative statement since I'm talking about my needs; others might find it small; it really depends on what you want it for; too small for a tent but big enough for a day hike!) - excellent stability; I was specifically looking for a backpack that wouldn't tip over - the price is really great; At first I was looking for fishing backpacks, but they were too expensive - the shoulder straps are very long; I ended up tightening them all the way (I'm 5ft 10" and 172lbs) so they would easily fit someone taller than me. they were really useless and annoying, some had to be cut off, some just fell off) - quite heavy in itself; This surprised me a little - there is no side mesh for a water bottle. In summary, the first impression is that I couldn't do better. Time will tell us more about how long this will take, but I'm sure I made the right choice. If anything changes, I'll let you know of course :)
