Review on 👔 Men's Accessories: Fairwin Ratchet Nylon Belt with Automatic Buckle by Christopher Cheek

I ordered the belt in October 2019. It arrived quickly and was of good quality. I have used but not abused the strap almost every day since it arrived. On January 15, 2020 (almost 3 months to date), I felt that the plate with the buckle was loose. I removed the strap and found two small screws inside holding the buckle together. One of the screws was loose, so I took a small Phillips screwdriver and tightened the screw. Later that night I noticed the screw was loose again. Looking closer, I found that the threaded hole that the small screw went in was unthreaded to hold the screw in place. With only one screw holding the belt together, it became an unreliable belt that was sure to fall apart. I'd like to think I was unlucky and got a bad buckle but I have nothing to compare other than a purchase from this seller. As I said, I really liked the belt until the buckle failed. That makes me go looking for a ratchet strap again. It would be nice if the company would get it right by sending me a new buckle. ********** REVIEW UPDATE ******** After I wrote this review, AMAZON contacted me with the seller's contact details. I contacted the seller and they quickly answered my questions. They asked me to show photos of the broken buckle, which I did. After some more correspondence I was able to order a buckle for free. It is expected to arrive within two days. I was happy with the quality of the product right from the start. I hope the defect is a "one time" occurrence, only time will tell. The customer service I received from the Fairwin store and the timely replacement of the defective part deserve my overall rating of 2 to 5 stars.
