I use this to hold up a pergola canopy - it's the best method I've found of preventing this from happening thing flies away! Paracord breaks within days, while plastic-coated rigid wire flexes until it snaps. It's flexible enough to go through some sort of channel and then tie the end around the poles, that's where the "thimbles"/eyelets really come in handy. The clamps are deep enough to hold the pieces of wire folded in half and can be screwed in very tightly. Great price at $10 for 30 feet of cable and accessories. Keep in mind that the coating makes up most of the wire diameter, I've tried to show this in the photo. In addition, the vinyl case smells strongly of chemicals when you first unpack it, but this dissipates after a few days. Highly recommended.
