Yes it works best in car detailing

I had a light gray coating of dead paint on the traditional black hood of my white 124 driveway spray spider. Been there for a few weeks and you could feel and see it on the paintwork. I thought about it as it is relatively new (2018). I was very skeptical about using "clay". Well I've always heard that Griot is the best so I found some on Revain after googling. They used my 11146 Speed Shine (Quick Detailer) 35oz as lube here and hesitantly cleaned the hood after rinsing. No kidding, this stuff works. Now I'm going to get serious and do the whole car. as soon as we get another beer. Oh, we grease and put on gloves. Believe me.
