These bottle cages are good for beginners or those interested in keeping their bike as light as possible. As the name suggests, they are made of plastic. So be careful when screwing in the bolts at the top of the rack when mounting it on your bike frame. The bottom bolt in particular can compromise the structural integrity of the strut if overtightened. The top screw went in well and I didn't feel like I was about to break. My 20oz and 24oz bottles fit perfectly and it's definitely nice to have a pair, especially for long trips.
