Review on 🎧 Logitech Ultimate Ears 600vi: Premium Noise-Isolating Headset in Dark Silver by Candace Ortiz

I was looking for a new pair of headphones to replace my recently lost Sennheiser CX-300B and looked through many reviews. and user reviews to try and find a decent replacement. I was originally considering an upgrade, something in the $100 range, but I stumbled across them and heard a lot of good things about them in terms of sound quality for the price. I happen to run my Sansa at a higher volume before giving it a serious listen. It's definitely an upgrade over regular headphones and popular cheaper brands like Skullcandy's, but I don't think they live up to the hype and excellent reviews on various websites. The overall sound is dominated by high frequencies that are crystal clear and incredibly refined. This makes acoustic and vocal music sound very good. The mids are relatively clear, but not as clear as the treble-dominated soundscape. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the reproduction of low frequencies. I didn't buy these expecting great bass response, but I did expect at least decent sound in the 250-1000Hz range. In fact, everything below 2000 Hz is completely muted and muted in these headphones. I've tried various sources (Sansa, Samsung Galaxy, Creative X-Fi from PC) and tweaked EQs, none of which can compensate for this design flaw. Regardless of your favorite genre of music, you'll notice a lack of bass when listening to rock, jazz, techno, and pretty much anything besides vocals and acoustic music. Having bought them direct from Revain LLC I seriously doubt they are fake. -by-side, and the difference in overall sound quality is day and night to me. Yes, the UE has a slightly better upper frequency response. But this is almost negligible: the high frequencies sound about 5% cleaner than with Sennheiser. Sennheiser have a much more balanced and flat frequency response; The mids and lows are much crisper and clearer compared to UE. Your ears are surrounded by a much more real 3D soundstage, where UEs tend to sound distant and almost metallic at times. And, of course, there's the terrible build quality that everyone has been grumbling about. I can't believe how cheap the 3.5mm jack is. It looks like it's about to fall apart and could be placed on $1.99 kids headphones straight from China as a toy. The headphones themselves are made out of cheap plastic, while the Sennheiser headphones at least have a metal body and feel relatively sturdy. I can also confirm their resilience compared to UE as my last pair lasted 3 years without issue until I lost them. So if you've been looking at the UE 600 with a focus on sound quality at the expense of inferior build quality. , you can consider the much more advanced (in my opinion) Sennheiser CX300B. Give both a listen if you can, which isn't too hard if you don't mind giving back a couple or two like I did with these.
