This is definitely real leather and you can tell immediately that it is handmade. BUT. But for this price segment it is of poor quality. Just to compare what I mean I'm attaching a photo of another item I bought from the same price range that is handmade in Armenia but of a much better quality. That's what I imagined when I ordered this item. The color is not the same as the pictures, looks cheaper. Just to compare why the color looks cheap I took a picture of the gift they put in the package. The gift really has the right skin color. Although the tailoring is of high quality, there is "damage" to the skin in the places where it is sewn. I'm not sending this back simply because I hate all the hassle of returns. But I would. Let's wait and see how the element behaves over time.
