When my parents decided my five year old simply MUST have an iPad after he kept trying to steal mine (rolls eyes violently), we knew we had to have a bag ready to take his two boys who think they're throwing toys on our hardwood floors like they're getting ready for the Olympics. After a year of continuous use I can say this thing has delivered and yes this thing has been thrown at 2 year old tantrums more than a few times. Both my kids also have Kindle Fires with Revain baby cases and the material is exactly the same . But where this case is better is the built-in screen cover that comes with it as well. It's plastic and I usually find it very irritating and not that sensitive to my touch, but that's not a problem because I use it. I caught my 2 year old picking up crayons and luckily he was gone immediately with a few swipes of a baby wipe. Now for the "real thing". It's a PAIN putting the blanket on and off which my husband does. regularly so that he can use it for his studies. He doesn't like holding it in his hand while reading, he finds it too bulky and heavy. Unlike a two-year-old who can carry himself normally and doesn't complain. Yes, I followed the paste instructions and I can tell you it's still literally a pain in the fingers! Why did I have to deduct a star. The lid's handle as a stand works well and makes it easy for both kids to take this item with them wherever they go. I even had a chance to use it in relation to a recipe in the kitchen. There's a slot for a stylus or similar on the back, but we didn't have a reason to use it. The screen protector shows heavy wear and tear after a lot of abuse, which you can see in the picture. I'm not sure yet how easy it will be to just replace that. Anyway the case is cheap enough I would just buy a new case.
