This is only my second bottle of Rosehip Seed Oil but it's so much better than my first! The first bottle of rosehip oil I tried was the Oil of Life and it was very runny, light yellow and oily like vegetable oil. It smelled right but kinda sat on my skin leaving me oily. Also, my skin was still red and only slightly hydrated. Well I've used this bottle and it's time to get more. I have researched so much about rosehip seed oil trying to find a good oil that is the right color, scent, bottle and texture. So I decided to try Viva, I have no regrets! It was a reasonable price for a 1 ounce bottle. The pipette is very comfortable, you can feel the suction of the pipette and the retention of oil in the pipette. I like the rounded pipette tip. It makes me feel less like I'm going to break it. Very solid feel and the lid can be screwed tight. The color is pleasant rich golden-amber, the consistency is smooth, viscous, oily. When I apply it to my face, it absorbs quickly and becomes silky smooth. I feel it reduces my redness instantly and my skin is soft! The smell is neither fishy nor floral (neither of which should be smelled by real rosehip oil). I would describe it as an earthy-leafy scent. I like it! I only wish it came in a bigger bottle! I had to use many drops of Lifeflow oil and with this Viva oil I only need 3 drops as recommended and that's enough! I highly recommend if you are looking for rosehip seed oil to try, give this a try, I'm glad I did!
