These shock absorbers replaced original parts from 17 years ago and the difference was obvious. The old ones only had 60,000 miles but they just didn't get the job done! Installation isn't too difficult other than loosening the rusted nuts on the bottom mounting studs. Use lots of heat to release them. The rubber in the bottom bracket of an old shock absorber burns and stinks, but without a burner it can crack. My converted van has greatly improved driving performance and I would recommend them to anyone who has a similar car. Thank you Monroe!
