So I got my new iPad Pro 10.5 for Christmas and I wanted a screen protector immediately. I did a lot of research and finally decided on this product for two reasons. First, they give you two, so if you make a mistake, there's a backup. Having applied iPhone screen protectors many times, I know the process can be quick and easy, or it can be brutal, especially when dust enters the equation. Second, I really liked the way this protector was installed with the grommets on each end. Before I get started, I watched the installation video on the manufacturer's website, where I shared a few useful tips. I carefully opened my new iPad and unclipped the plastic cover on the device. I then pulled one of the protective sheets from the envelope and found that flap #1 placed the protective sheet with the sheet attached to flap #1 facing up. I held my breath and then gently tugged on tab #1, peeling back the film covering the adhesive side of the tread. I immediately grabbed the tabs attached to the remaining foil on the tread and flipped the whole thing over. I opened the iPad fully and exposed the glass to room air for the first time. The tabs allowed me to hang a screen protector over the iPad, making it easier to line up the cutouts for the camera and home button. I'm a perfectionist and have aligned the screen protector less than 1/2mm with minimal difficulty and then lowered the screen protector onto the iPad screen. The protective film immediately stuck to the iPad with a few small residual bubbles, which were squeezed out in seconds with the scraper provided. Then I let my breath settle for a pretty perfect setup in less than a minute with extra profile in case I needed to replace that. Not bad! Plus, it looks great and the iPad's touch response hasn't diminished one bit. The two reasons I chose this product worked. The most important thing is a simple and clean assembly and secondly an additional protection for a rainy day. Please note: I did not use any screen cleaner or dust remover as my iPad was new out of the box, but if I need to do another install in the future I will definitely use all of these things.
