The hairbrush was in a case, in a laptop case in a special bag. I live in Northern California between the bay and Sacramento, in a warm, dry country. The comb was not wrinkled or broken during storage and transportation. I noticed that over time the bottom pair of teeth cracked, filled them in a bit with wood glue but now the entire top half of the teeth broke off at a stop in my beard. I have very delicate and frizzy beard hair that tends to get tangled, so I don't force or try to pull on my hair. I have no idea how that could have happened other than it was a bad piece of wood. Might try to get another to at least try to give a fairer review than the one based on a comb, loved the sandalwood scent.
