This brush is good in every way but I had to give it 3 stars because it smells awful. I don't know what kind of oil, varnish or stain they use to finish it, but it's uncomfortable. Ok guys I like this comb but it has a strong sandalwood scent. It will go away after a while of use, but your beard will have an odor at first. The hairbrush was in a case, in a laptop case in a special bag. I live in Northern California between the bay and Sacramento, in a warm, dry country. I bought this a few days after buying the combo fine and wide wooden comb also made by Viking Revolution. The teeth of this comb are about halfway between the fine and coarse teeth of the other comb. I don't find it as satisfying as the coarse teeth of another comb for detangling my beard, but I find it very useful as an all-purpose beard/mustache comb to carry in my bag.
