I really like the comb. Sandalwood smells very pleasant but not overpowering, leaving a light and warm scent on my hands and beard. It reminds me of the time I was in my great uncle's carpentry shop. He worked with a lot of sandalwood for the decorative pieces he made for his church and I had no idea how nostalgic I was for this scent. When used with your favorite products, the comb will self-adjust and pick up notes from any fragrance infused with your chosen products. Ideally, the scent on the comb is your unique. The good thing is that the set screw is keyed (a Phillips combination) so you can tighten it if it becomes loose or if you want it to stay really open or closed. I also really appreciate the subtle branding. I'm not a man with a skull and crossbones or a top hat, and many men's grooming products promote that image in their branding. This company maintains a fairly clean branding across all their offerings. My reviews for this product are clearly picky. The design is very simple, which is good, but I'd like to see beveled edges; a little tight in the pocket. When in use, the serrated side of the comb is flush with the teeth and handle, requiring you to manipulate the comb at different angles to avoid the handle rubbing your beard. This isn't a problem in itself, but rather a minor design flaw that could be remedied with a belt sander (which would also solve non-beveled edge problems) or if the comb could unfurl wider so it could be held and manipulated if you was a razor. The case offers some protection from pocket lint and key abrasions, but slightly better material and maybe a button closure would have been nice. If it falls into the supplied case, it may fly out of the case and slide on the floor. Not that much, especially for $10, but it's happened to me and my comb is a bit frayed now. In short, if I break this comb today, I'll order a new one as soon as possible.
