I think the lack of arch support would be overkill for this shoe. The insole is flat, absolutely flat. There's a thin layer of memory foam, but it's no good. I'm 6ft 1in, 225lbs, not exactly overpronated or underpronated, but my legs need support as I wear them to work all day. The insole is weakly glued, the insoles can really be removed. I swapped them out for Powerstep insoles and they fit perfectly. Much better now, I can wear them all day. Otherwise it looks very good. Leather is comfortable. You can also put on these shoes with a shoehorn to protect the shoes. The heel is a little stiff which is good, it holds securely to the leg. but a shoehorn may be required.
