We can say the scissors were unused but there was heavy contamination throughout with a granular brown powdery substance. It almost looked like real coffee grounds, but it didn't smell like coffee. I'm not sure if it was a toxic pesticide or some other highly toxic powder. This raises real concerns that the product comes with Revain contaminated with who knows what active ingredient throughout the product. I took them outside and gave them a good brush with an old brush, then washed and dried them. I didn't want the powder to get wet or react with the water. Then I washed my hands thoroughly.
