I purchased the 12-pack of Filterbuy MERV 11 Allergen Defense air filters for my HVAC AC furnace and was excited to try them out. The replacements are pleated to the actual size of 9.50 X 13.50 X 3.75 inches, making them an easy and convenient swap for my old filters. However, after using them for several weeks, I was disappointed to find that they did not perform as well as I anticipated. While they did help to filter out some allergens and pollutants, I noticed that they did not seem to make much of a difference in the overall air quality of my home. Additionally, I found that they needed to be replaced more frequently than my previous filters, which was frustrating. On the positive side, the 12-pack is a good value and the filters themselves are sturdy and well-made. However, I cannot give them more than three stars due to their lackluster performance. Overall, I would recommend the Filterbuy MERV 11 Allergen Defense air filters only if you are on a tight budget and are not expecting major improvements in air quality.
