I'm very very glad I got this. I'm driving through Texas in the summer and it's getting too hot to carry water on my back. This item is easy to install and use. Yes it's really hard to get a bottle but honestly if you have one if you don't need to wash it you can leave it after your travels. I've only taken mine off once, and it's easier to attach to the bike frame than trying to just pull it out without being attached to anything. The attachment system isn't perfect, but it's reusable, so you can adjust it until you find the perfect spot. The hose is long enough. I suggest figuring out where you want and then adding a few inches before cutting, just in case. If you need to trim more afterwards, it's easier than not having enough. I used some vegetable oil to lubricate the hose before putting the cap on and it made it very easy. Inserting the bite valve is quite tricky so make sure you are ready as it will NOT come out the back (which is good since you will be pulling it up while riding). I use SpeedSok to overcome this. for extra insulation, and it also helps a lot in the heat. I like it very much for long trips! I can also reach the second electrolyte bottle, which sits on the seat tube, without any problems. Getting a bottle of water onto the circuit is easy - just pop off the cap, pop in and squeeze in a snap, and your breath will fill up again. Ideal!
