Review on Equivalent Halogen Bi Pin Energy Not Dimmable by Ivan Cantrell

Tried a few other replacement halogen LED bulbs and these were the only ones bright enough to keep. I had to buy a new transformer to power them, but I'm happy in the end. They were a little too wide to fit in the glass spheres that covered the original, but they looked cool uncoated (if you like that hi-tech/modern look), but to achieve the same brightness as the original halogens, they were it just not there. all options in the original thickness. If you have flickering, your power supply probably isn't capable of handling it. Halogens and LEDs are loaded differently, so the original transformer can cause flickering. Just buy an LED transformer - there are sites that will help you calculate the required load.
