Purchased to replace the Fluval Spec 5 aquarium light. It attaches to the aquarium with articulated arms and looks good with the black and silver color of the aquarium. It doesn't look like an aftermarket flashlight. Pros: * Nice looking light, easy to set up and attach (just make sure you pay attention and order the right length for your tank) * Much better than a standard flashlight, it has multiple colored LEDs (white, +RGB) , all programmable color and brightness* Customizable schedule Cons:* Programming is limited to 3-hour time slots; You can only set changes at 12/3/6/9/12/3/6/9 AM. You can also set the system time only in the same places. * remote control is illogical; DO NOT LOSE THE INSTRUCTIONS
