A very useful tool at an affordable price. I used it to run an underground cable line that was over 200 feet long. As previously mentioned, change the sensitivity setting as you move away from the transmitter source along the guide wire. Use a low sensitivity for the first 25-40 feet depending on the depth and density of the material between you and the line. Increase sensitivity as you walk. Deducted 1 star because no batteries are included.
