I totally understand why these socks should work, but for me they were a failure. The main reason they failed was how they feel when you put them on. If you put any type of moisturizer or ointment on your healings that don't absorb right away and then put these socks on, the socks will slip over your feet as you walk. The fact that they only go halfway is also very inconvenient as you can't wear shoes with them. If you wear sneakers, you run the risk of your shoes starting to smell due to the sweat they contain since half of your foot is open. They are also very uncomfortable (and ugly) when trying to wear them with sandals. I decided to wear them every night before bed to see if they really made a difference and I didn't notice any difference after a few weeks.
