Bought these for my 10 year old disabled grandson. Even under the thick blanket, he continued to freeze at night. He can't make himself understood, but in the morning he was whimpering and shaking. I decided to try them for extra warmth and they do the trick without being bulky. They're also easy to dress up, which we need because Simon can't dress himself. He is tall for his age and has long legs and sleeves, almost like pajamas. This isn't a problem for us, but you can go down a size for a closer fit. They are also very soft and wash well. I will order two more pairs for rent.
