I bought this to replace a very old 27 inch monitor that was still working but not working properly. So this is a clear update. I'm not a gamer or techie, so I can't tell you much about how this works. But I can tell you that it was easy to set up and didn't require any special knowledge. It was plug and play which is perfect for me. The picture is beautiful and I love that I can split the screen which gives you the same results as if you had two monitors. I have it on a dual console so I didn't use the stand. But I am very impressed with the stand, it's solid, the monitor slides in and out easily, and it's balanced so the monitor can be easily moved up or down and/or used vertically. It's lightweight and durable. I really like this monitor, I recommend it.
